1. YOU DO NOT CARE WHAT YOUR FRIENDS OR NEIGHBORS THINK: You must be willing to go against the grain. You must be willing to stand alone in the mental areas of your mind. Even though you have a support team BEING A DIRECTOR MUST BE UP TO YOU. You must do the things that lead to director despite what you may see.

2. YOU MUST BE PATIENT: Your DIRECTORSHIP DOES NOT HAPPEN OVERNIGHT. You must be willing to grow and mature. Everyone is on a different level. Some mature faster than others. Don't judge your success or failures by what you see others in the business do.

3. YOU HAVE TO DEVELOP GOOD HABITS: A YTB Director shows discipline. If no one is coming to a presentation the presentation goes on. If there is a conference call you are on it. A Director knows that my good habits will eventually be rewarded. Your good habits must become your diet. Remember you are what you eat.

4. YOU MUST BE PREPARED: You must be prepared to do a conference call, a meeting or presentation at any time. You must be confident in knowing that you are the expert in YTB. If you do not know the answer to a question, find out. You must learn how to handle failures and/or victories. YTB DIRECTORS are always prepared.

5. YOU MUST DREAM BIG/HAVE VISION: YTB Directors knows exactly where they are headed. They know what they want out of life and they have identified the "Why, I am doing this?" Remember money is a good initial attraction but your lasting why is the determining factor. There is a proverb that reads, "WITHOUT A VISION THE PEOPLE PERISH". Without dreaming your YTB business is doomed and so is your Directorship. A YTB Director is in hot pursuit of the journey at the end of the road.

6. LEAD BY EXAMPLE: Whatever your team watches you do they will do. A YTB Director leads from the front. You are a general at war with your financial freedom and those you bring into the business. You are leading your troops into a fight for financial freedom and you have either accomplished it or are on your way.

7. YOU UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF THE TEAM CONCEPT: A YTB Director understands his success does not come at his own hands. There are no Lone Rangers in YTB. A Director can only achieve that position because of the teamwork. Remember there is a cycle, once you get to a certain level you must help those who help you get what they want simultaneously.

8. YOU INVEST IN YOURSELF AND YOUR TEAM: A YTB Director invests in himself and those on his team. There must be a willing effort on your part to invest in those on your team what you have learned about the YTB business and the journey towards DIRECTOR.

9. YOU ARE NOT AFRAID: A YTB Director is not afraid of success. A YTB Director is a pillar of strength to the team. You must be willing to have faith in your team even when their faith is lacking. A YTB Director is healthy mentally, physically and spiritually.

10. YOU MUST ALWAYS BE A STUDENT OF THE BIZ: A YTB Director must always be willing to learn from other Directors and those on his team. No one person is bigger than the vision of YTB.
